Graduation!

Yesterday was such an incredibly exciting day. I graduated from Algonquin College's Photography program! Below are some photos of the day, compliments of my mom's cell phone (Thanks Mom!). Thank you so much to my friends, family, and professors who supported me through these past two years. I have my dream career, and I couldn't be happier!

Dew Drops

There's a certain pride I find that photographers feel when they find something to photograph when they weren't expecting it. A little gem that they never thought they'd document. This morning I was watering the plants outside and noticed how the leaves on the lily plants were collecting the droplets. I promptly got my camera, my lens, and my macro adapter ring, and photographed the dew drops that I wasn't expecting on this fine day.

Even More Gallery Changes!

It is 1:20 am as I write this. I've always been quite a night owl when it comes to my photography work, and I can guarantee that with you as a client, when you wake up in the mornings and check your emails from me, it will probably state it was sent between the hours of 11pm and 2am. But I've digressed.

This evening (or should I say morning?) I did a total and complete overhaul on my galleries, and I could not be more excited for you to see them! Some people noted they were having difficulties with the original drop down menu. Now when you select the Galleries tab from the main menu, it will bring you to a page where you can delve further to find my Weddings, Portraits, and Creative/Personal galleries. Go on and have a look for yourself!

Here's a little sneak-peak of what it looks like for me as I work on the site. Here, you see behind the scenes of the Portrait gallery.

Also, you can now find pricing at the bottoms of my Weddings and Portraits galleries. I hope that this will make it a much more clear and user friendly experience for all to enjoy.

And now, at 1:30am, it is time for this night owl to get some sleep. You can find my volunteering at the Kin Club of Russell's annual Pout Masters fishing tournament. If you're looking for something fun to do with the family this May long weekend, come check it out!

Have a wonderful day!
